Winter is a wonderful season for storytelling.

The children of HD Beijing have just completed

a beautiful Winter Celebration by singing,

dancing and telling marvelous strories.

The legendary gruffalo,

the animals crowded in a mitten,

 and the little gingerbread boy......

Each story was performed in English and brought

to life by the children's wonderful performance.

Thanks to all teachers for the efforts and brilliant works

which made all these great things happen.

If you want to learn to fly,

Start at number ten.

If you want to sail up high,

Start at number ten.

If you want to touch the clouds,

Stand up tall and shout aloud,

Start to count at number ten.

“All the teachers were blown away at

how all the children memorized their lines,

learnt the songs and remembered the actions.

This wasn’t just a winter show

but it has taught our children

how to work even better as a team” G1 teacher said.

Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening

Whose woods these are I think I know,

His house is in the village though.

He will not seeme stopping here,

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer,

To stop without a farm house near,

Between the woods and frozen lake,

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake,

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound's the sweep,

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

New Year of 2021 is coming.
